In this article we are going to take a quick look at even more free ways to get free traffic to your blog. The simple truth of the matter is this: Most blogs (and the bloggers behind them) will NEVER make enough money from their efforts to buy their family ONE nice dinner at the local diner. For all their pomp, pontificating and circumstance, your favorite blogger is most likely broke! (Or at least relative to the income they derive from their favorite pastime) Let's look at why - and watch as I give you a few FREE and easy ways to make sure you aren't one of them.

Cast a Wide Net

The truth is, if you are reading this article, you are most likely someone who is trying to break into the blogging world as a professional endeavor. You want to turn your PASSION, into profit...rather than simply sharing a few trite thoughts about the world, and your place within it. That said - you need to grow a larger base of readers, and content. How do you do this? Simple. Leverage and Software!

Which Blog are YOU Stalking?

The easiest way to get the word out, and do it fast, is to use a simple free tool like bloglines to aggregate and collect all of the cool content, blogs, and feeds that are relevant to your industry. Load them all up, and every morning, as they updated, stop by and comment on the new posts. Or alternatively, have someone do it for you. As a tertiary option, use a free browser like FLOCK and the "blogthis" function to add THEIR content to YOUR blog, with a perfectly formatted and attributed link back to them in the footer of your post.

What does this do? Very simply - they will SEE incoming links coming from yours to theirs and be much more likely to read YOUR blog regularly, refer their readers to you, etc. Of course when you choose the first option, your comments would be linking to your blog anyway, which is the conventional, and super easy way of broadening your base and increasing your exposure in record, rapid fire turn around time.
